CornerBank’s Community Cornerstone Award recipient for June is Larry Kline, a Navy veteran whose volunteer work includes visits to schools and retirement homes as Santa Claus.

The public is invited to a reception for Kline, set for 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the lobby at the bank, 4621 W. Sixth St. The bank will donate $135 on Kline’s behalf to Habitat for Humanity.

Kline’s volunteer service also includes participation in the Lawrence Breakfast Optimist Club, Lawrence Education Achievement Partners, Boy Scout Troop 52, Lawrence First United Methodist Church and Methodist Men.
